CEO of CAP
Aimee Mai is CEO of non-profit organisation Christians Against Poverty New Zealand.
After working in accountancy and human resources, Aimee joined CAP as a volunteer in 2008 and after serving in a number of roles across the organization became CEO in 2013. Under Aimee’s leadership, Christians Against Poverty has experienced rapid growth and expansion throughout New Zealand. The organisation now partners with around 150 churches across Aotearoa to provide free debt-help counselling and money management courses to release New Zealanders from poverty and unmanageable debt.
Aimee counts it a privilege to be part of what God is doing in Aotearoa, and is passionate about the church reaching its community to serve the poor and share the transforming love of Jesus. She lives in South Auckland with her husband Ben who is the Network Partnerships Director at Christians Against Poverty.
