Barry Soper
Barry is a political journalist and editor at Newstalk ZB. He has been featured regularly on radio and television since the 1970s.
On Prime Television, Soper appears as the political editor for the TV network on its nightly broadcasts.
In 2001, Soper was named Individual Radio Journalist of the Year at the NZ Radio Awards.
He is based in Wellington, has five children, and is married to TVNZ reporter Heather Du Plessis-Allan.
