He did this for the Ronald McDonald House Charities NZ to raise money and awareness after being inspired by the movie “Into the Wild”

Brando Yelavich circumnavigated New Zealand's coastline from 2013-2014 covering an impressive distance of 8000kms. During which time he lived off the land, catching fish, wild birds, wild rabbits and whatever else he could get his hands on. He did this for the Ronald McDonald House Charities NZ to raise money and awareness after being inspired by the movie “Into the Wild”.

Because of not achieving at school as a result of ADHD and dyslexia, and not being able to get a decent job he decided to wipe the slate clean and do something great which helped others.
