
Bruce Pilbrow
Raised in Auckland, Bruce began his career as a retail sales manager at Cellular One after obtaining a marketing degree from AUT University. Moving on in 1994, Bruce became a commercial business manager at Chevron New Zealand.
In 2002 he shifted into working in the non-profit sector as Marketing Manager for Rhema Broadcasting Group.
In 2005 Bruce became the CEO of Parents Inc. (now The Parenting Place).
His passion for maintaining vibrant, healthy and safe family life in New Zealand made him an ideal candidate for Deputy Commissioner for the Families Commission. A role he served in from 2009 to 2011 when the challenges of continuing to run The Parenting Place demanded that he step down.
Bruce is married to Amanda and they have three children.
