With a police career spanning 24 years, Senior Constable Bryan Ward has his fair share of stories to tell.
His show Bryan & Bobby started in 2005, when Constable Bryan was a Police Education officer for the Otahuhu Area. Bryan and Bobby his ‘talking dog’ (who Bryan insists is a puppy, not a puppet) filmed over 70 shows and travelled around New Zealand, visiting 1.4 million kids in live shows at school assemblies from Houhoura to Invercargill and were named ambassadors for Variety the Children’s charity, NZ Pink Shirt Day and Neighbourhood to name a few. Bryan was awarded the Queens Service Medal in 2009 for services to community & New Zealand Police.
Bryan and wife Penelope always dreamed of being parents and are Home for Life foster parents through Oranga Tamariki.
