
Derek Handley
Derek co-founded The Hyperfactory, one of the first agencies in the world to recognise the power of mobile devices for connecting consumers, brands and mass media.
He has been named one of the ‘Silicon Alley 100’ of the most influential technology people in New York; Sir Peter Blake Trust Leader in NZ, a former New Zealand Herald Business Leader of the Year and Ernst & Young ‘Young Entrepreneur’ of the Year and the co-founder and Chairman of mobile advertising network, Snakk Media.
He became an Adjunct Executive Professor for AUT University in Auckland in 2014 and published his first book, ‘Heart to Start’. He is also a Board member of Sky Television, and a Trustee of the New Zealand Arts Foundation.
