Greg Foster

Greg began his career working with at-risk youths in Christchurch. After some post-graduate studies, he began working with the Mennonite Central Committee and other relief organisations, managing development work in Bangladesh, Iraq, Jordan and Tanzania.


Greg then began working for Habitat for Humanity in 2007 as the regional director for East Africa and Middle East region and now serves as Area Vice President.


Foster has a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Otago, and a master’s degree in development from Eastern University, Philadelphia.


Greg received the 1990 New Zealand Commemorative Medal, awarded by Queen Elizabeth for his services to young people.
