
Hilary Poole
CEO of Netball NZ
Hilary started off life at Diocesan school in Auckland, and later went on to gain a PE and commerce degree at Otago University.
She became CEO of Netball NZ in October 2013. Her combination of 20 years in a commercial background and sport governance highlights the experience she brings to the job. Hilary has advised some of New Zealand’s leading businesses in a range of industry sectors. Before netball she has been the CEO of Hockey New Zealand and the Hockey Foundation. In 2012 Hilary was awarded the CK Doig Award for excellence in sporting leadership and has previously held senior roles at Bank of New Zealand, and GE Capital.
