Hon Anne Tolley was first elected to Parliament on the National Party list in 1999 and won the seat of East Coast in 2005. She was re-elected as MP for East Coast in the 2008, 2011, and 2014 General Elections.

Anne is overseeing the establishment of the Ministry for Vulnerable Children, Oranga Tamariki, which will replace Child, Youth and Family from April 2017. She is also a co-chair of the Ministerial Group on Family Violence and Sexual Violence, which is leading a cross-government approach to family and sexual violence.

She is a former Hawke’s Bay Regional Councillor, a Napier City Councillor, and was the Deputy Mayor of Napier City for six years.

Anne and her husband Allan live in Ohope. They have three adult children and four grandchildren.
