Real Life with John Cowan

After playing cricket for Otago Jeff played at an international level in the 1992-93 season before being selected as an All Black in 1993. He appeared 71 times for the All Blacks scoring a total of 234 points in his rugby career.

After his retirement from rugby Jeff returned to playing cricket at a provincial level until he was selected for the Black Caps once again in 2005. He retired from cricket later that year due to persistent injury.
