Liam Hehir
Lawyer, Columnist & Political Commentator
Liam's family arrived in New Zealand in 1842 and has been farming in the Manawatu region since 1855. He has retained an interest in agriculture. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University and is Senior Associate at Fitzherbert Rowe Lawyers where his main focus is on general business law and he has a particular interest in intellectual property.
Liam wrote a weekly newspaper column on media and culture named Firing Line which ran in several Stuff publications and occasional radio appearances. His is involved in a number of community groups and organisations and is a member of the Rotary Club of Palmerston North.
