Stand-Up Comedian & Writer

Stand-up comedian and writer Michèle A’Court was awarded “Comedian of the Decade” at the 2010 NZ Comedy Awards.


She has been on New Zealand TV screens since 1987 and still makes appearances on radio and TV, as well as in pubs and clubs – working the comedy circuit in places like San Francisco, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Brisbane, Adelaide and Auckland.


Michèle writes a weekly column on social issues for Your Weekend and stuff.co.nz. Michèle’s solo comedy show Stuff I Forgot To Tell My Daughter, became a bestselling book in 2015, and her second book How We Met, was released in March this year.


Michèle has a daughter and lives on Auckland’s North Shore with her husband, Jeremy Elwood.
