
Michelle Boag
Michelle is a New Zealand public relations practitioner. She was educated at Auckland Girls' Grammar School and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Victoria University in Wellington in 1977.
Michelle’s 35-year career spans public relations, advertising, politics, government and private sector consultancy. A former President of the NZ National Party, she has extensive networks in New Zealand’s business and political communities. She is currently an Executive Adviser to the Middle East Business Council and her communications advisory roles cover a range of different sectors.
Michelle has a wealth of experience in community governance and has served in an advisory or governance capacity with organisations as diverse as the Salvation Army, Auckland Rugby, NZ Breast Cancer Foundation, Surf Lifesaving, and the Auckland City Mission. She is a former President of Variety Club, a former Director of TVNZ and Manu Samoa Rugby Ltd, has served on the Advertising Standards Complaints Board and is currently a Trustee of the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust and the Eden Park Trust.
