
Peter Posa
During the 60’s and early 70’s Peter was one of New Zealand’s most prolific recording artists. He released 20 albums, 28 singles and 15 EPs during a 15 year period, while regularly touring throughout New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. He is most famous for his instrumental "The White Rabbit" which made it to the top of the New Zealand and Australian charts in 1964.
Nearly 50 years later, in 2012, his album "White Rabbit - The Very Best of Peter Posa" made it to the top of the NZ charts, spending 6 weeks at the number one spot. In the 2008 Queen's Birthday Honours, Posa was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to entertainment. Peter has just released a new 2-CD set, “Golden Guitar: The Peter Posa Anthology” featuring 46 tracks that have never been available on CD before.
