Suzanne Lynch is New Zealand pop royalty. Having spent her teenage years on our prime-time screens as the blonde half of 60’s band The Chicks (C’mon and Happen Inn), Suzanne then travelled the world singing with Cat Stevens, Art Garfinkel, Olivia Newton-John and Leo Sayer – to name a few. She spent most of the 70’s in England where she worked as a session singer and on albums, sang at the Royal Festival Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra. She toured England with Neil Sedaka, then joined the Cat Stevens band for 3 albums, and two world tours. Suzanne even provided backing vocals on the original recording of Kung Fu Fighting!

Suzy’s successful solo career includes TV, recordings and touring, plus accolades such as the NZ Entertainer of the Year award and the coveted Benny Award from Variety Artists Club of New Zealand (2008). In 2006, Suzanne released Colour of Summer, her first solo album in 20 years, including several original songs.

She recently supervised the music and wrote and performed songs for the Kiwi movie 3 Mile Limit, about Radio Hauraki’s pirate beginnings, and regularly tours the country with Operatunity.

Suzanne has been the television vocal coach on all series of New Zealand Idol, Stars In Their Eyes, and New Zealand’s Got Talent shows! She is the ultimate singer’s singer, much loved and respected by the industry.
