Dame Diane Robertson
After a childhood stained by poverty, physical and sexual abuse, Diane went on to become a therapist in her adult life. 17 years ago she was appointed CEO of the Auckland City Mission. Her work has included advocacy and fundraising as well as feeding and sheltering the poor and homeless.
Diane was recently made a Dame of The New Zealand Order of Merit in the Queen’s Birthday Honours on 1 June 2015.
