Blofeld’s idiosyncratic form of cricket commentary is as unique as it is recognisable. As well as writing about cricket, his witty and larger-than-life personality has transcended the commentary box, as he performs one-man theatrical  shows to packed theatres throughout the United Kingdom. Blofeld was awarded an OBE for services to broadcasting in 2003
