VisionWest Community Trust works in West Auckland to end homelessness, reduce poverty, support the elderly, and ensure young people have hope for the future. Founded in 1988, VisionWest celebrated their 20th anniversary last year. From humble beginnings, Visionwest has grown into an organisation that now has over 1000 employees, has a National reach, and works with over 15,000 people every year.
Appointed CEO in 2001, Lisa gained a Masters of Social Practise with a Graduate Diploma in Not for Profit Management at Unitec Institute of Technology.
Lisa and VisionWest have earned multiple awards and honours for their work including the Westpac Excellence in Business Leadership 2014, Auckland Kiwibank Local Hero Award 2015 and were finalists in the Westpac Excellence in Business Innovation 2014 and Mitre 10 Community of the Year 2015.
