Rawdon Christie

The London-born father of three had a short stint here in New Zealand teaching at King's School before returning to the UK to begin a career in journalism.

However, the allure of New Zealand drew him back downunder.

Since leaving the BBC in 2003 for a reporter position with TVNZ, Rawdon has held producer and presenter roles for various news and current affairs programmes, including presenting the Breakfast News bulletins and Saturday Breakfast show.

And just on a side-note, Rawdon's aunt is the award-winning British actor, Julie Christie.
