Suzy leapt from radio announcing into television as presenter of TV3’s Early Bird Show, quickly claiming her place as one of New Zealand’s most beloved children’s presenters. Thanks to the success of Suzy’s World and pre-school favourite You and Me, her television CV now runs to well over 2300 episodes.In 1999, she set up her own company, Treehut Productions. Cato has written many children’s books and hosts the Amazing Me videos, which have been used in schools and pre-schools to teach life skills. She won Best Children’s Programme at the New Zealand Radio awards in 2015 and was a contestant on the seventh series of Dancing With The Stars New Zealand.Suzy is currently co-hosting a parenting podcast series Double Strength Mama Power alongside Tui Fleming. She will be part of a TV channel designed to educate New Zealand children stuck at home during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic.Cato and her husband Steve have two children.
