John Bishop is one of the United Kingdom’s most prominent comedians, known for selling out numerous national arena tours and for his wide-ranging television career. He has fronted several successful comedy, entertainment, and documentary series, including John Bishop’s Australia, John Bishop’s Only Joking, The John Bishop Show, John Bishop’s Christmas Show, and John Bishop’s Gorilla Adventure, filmed in Rwanda. His television work also includes John Bishop’s Sport Relief Hell, a regular role as team captain on A League of Their Own, and appearances on Jack Dee Live at the Apollo.

Expanding into acting, Bishop wrote, directed, and starred in his own comedy drama for Little Crackers and went on to work with acclaimed filmmakers Ken Loach in Route Irish and Jimmy McGovern in Accused. He also published his best-selling autobiography How Did All This Happen? and raised £1.6 million for charity by completing a triathlon.

He later hosted the acclaimed interview show John Bishop: In Conversation With, which he brought to the Edinburgh Festival, appeared alongside Helen McCrory and Sir Michael Gambon in Fearless, and embarked on his 77-date live UK and Ireland tour Winging It, which sold over 500,000 tickets.
